Two Tone Eye Shadow Tutorial (Sephora Berry Crush and Estee Lauder Nocturnal Blue Satin)

This tutorial will be a basic eyemakeup.

Products Used :
Brush - Estee Lauder
Berry Crush Eye shadow - Sephora
Nocturnal Blue Satin - Estee Lauder
Concealer - Sephora

Step 1 : Moisturize your eyes and start applying 'Concealer'  (I used Sephora Concealer). Blend the concealer well and apply loose powder.

Step 2 : Using brush take the eyeshadow at one side. Start applying your eyeshadow by starting from center of your lid to the outer V and again back forth towards inner. But do not go till your inner V.

Step 3 : Nicely blend the color. It should be as below.

Step 4 : Take the second eyeshadow and apply it from the center towards the outer V.

Step 5 : Nicely blend it. Take care that you don't blend it to the inner V. Only half part of the eye should have the second color blended well. Using the second color create a V shape at the Outer V

Step 6 : Use the lightest shimmery color on your eye shadow palette and fill it on your Arc, Inner V and Lower Lash line. From the lower lash line join it towards the inner V.

Step 6 : Apply Eyeliner and Mascara. You are Done !!!

Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly Body mist and Body Lotion Review

My Take on the Product : 
I am very much fond of victoria's secret collection of Perfumes and body mists. They have wide range of these with different flavors especially in Body Mists and have attractive offers if we buy in bulk. I have bought 7 mists and got one for free in a very cheap price and gifted to my relatives. One of my relative knew I love Victoria's secret perfumes and gifted me this set of Mist and Body Lotion of Dream Angels collection. I liked the cute packaging of these two. I usually prefer perfume than mists. But then this heavenly has awesome effect on you, be it perfume or body mist. I loved the way it mixes with my skin and the smell was so divine and truly divine. Few of my friends said its really nice smelly and wanted to buy them. It lasted only for very few hours because its just a mist and you can't expect it to be a perfume. However if you are going for a short shopping this is the perfect mist which will give you nice fragrance while you shop.

Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly Body lotion :

 Price : 20$ for 200ml (comes in different quantity)

Blended with : White musk, sandalwood, vanilla and white peony

I personally love Body Shop body lotions but as this is a gift from my cousin I wanted to try. The body lotion also has similar smell like mist. It does not make you feel super moisturized. I have to apply in layers to make a feel that its moisturizes. I would not recommend this for dry skinned beauties. But yeah if you need a light body lotion go for this.

Pros of Both : 

• The smell is so divine 
• Gives a good effect when mixed with your skin

Cons of Both : 

• The mist does not stay longer
• The lotion does not moisturize
• Both are Overpriced

Doing Facial is good ?? .. Have these in Mind before you go for it

Doing a facial regime is good for your skin. You can have your skin healthy and have it cleansed, scrubbed and relaxed. 

Things to note before you do Facial  

• Choose a right parlor because with years of experience they knew different skin types and methods to do facial.

• When you go with higher priced facial see to that they don't make you sit for 2 hours and apply various products on your face which is not healthy at all.

• Whatever facial you decide, do not hesitate to ask about what products they use. Because some of them use their own and we won't be sure about the ingredients.

• Always tell them your skin type before you decide which facial you want. Because fruit facial would not suit oil skinned beauties. 

• See to the environment of the parlor and ask them to have quality tissue papers to wipe your face and not any sponges.

• Usually when you do facial they give you a deep massage and steam, this may create pimples or heat boils. Be prepared for that and ask them to give you a proper amount of steam and not to overdo.

• If they recommend you any kind of facial, ask them on what basis that will suit your skin type.

• Always keep in mind that facials that claim to make your pimples go away will not always do that. Hence before they keep any instruments for that be ready for a open pore or a mark at that place. 

• Do your facial regimes only once a month and not every fifteen days. 

• Ask them to keep your eyes covered with the cotton dipped in water while you have a pack on your face. This will help you relax.

• Neck is also very important while you have a facial as face and neck should be in same color. 

• Never do waxing on your face to remove the hairs even they say it wont hurt. It will hurt and bring you heat boils if you have a sensitive skin.

• Ask them not to do a harsh massage and let it be a soft but effective.

• When you have your face pack on your face it might get in to your eyes so be careful with it. 

• Always opt for a face pack that can be wiped off than going with a peel off mask because face pack travels through your pores and cleanses.

My Take on the Product : 
Eyeliner is the most important product which will always be my favorite. I tried different eyeliners for the past years but was not really satisfied. In sephora store, I found different brands of eyeliners. Usually I use liquid eyeliners dipped with a small brush. Marc Jacob looks like a pen as the name says precision pen waterproof eyeliner. I tried in the store on my own and it was easy to use which has free flow on my eyes. I was able to apply a single coat easily at one stretch but yeah i was so careful on applying it. I wanted to check thicker look and tried a second coat on it.  It gave me complete blacky effect on the eyes which appears as if you have placed a black sticker which adds awesome effect after it dries. The applicator is neatly shaped and makes it darker when you apply slow and steady from place to place on your eyes. Do not drop it down as it spills a little here and there. SA in the store told me it will last for few months and asked not to not leave the cap open as it might get dried soon. Its great for a party wear.

Pros : 

• It gives a neat defined look on the eyes.
• Its waterproof and it stays for longer hours so girlz do not worry that it might get leaked.
• Its very easy to use and you can get a thinner or thicker coat as you wish.
• The effect on the eyes is too elegant with its blacky color

Cons :

• The pen is too silky which sometimes tend to drop from my hand while I apply
• If you are not careful while you apply it might give you a little strike which again you have to wipe it before it dries
• Even after wiping them through a nice remover I need to make sure everything is gone else next day morning my eyes look smoky (Aahhhh :( .. )
• As the eyeliner flows well take care you don't give any different shape at the end of your eyes.

My Take on the product : 

I was in sephora store looking around for a nice lipstick. Generally all colors would not suit us and I needed a color which would suit any dress i wear and need to match it with my skin color. When I came across this section I found a lot and lot of different colors and Yeah I was confused. The name on this lipstick was French Kiss and I thought I can try this lol. I just wore a single swatch of it and I found it glossy and shiny too. It gave a beautiful look to the lips and I felt the lips moisturized feel. I felt that I have found the right one and just grabbed it. I wore this for day and even in evenings with two swatches to make it more thicker and glossy. I did not want to have a gloss on it as it was already shining. Be careful you don't taste it because it just easily goes for a little water on it lol :). Overall I loved the look it gave me.

Pros :

• As claims gives a glossy glow to the lips which gives a sexily look 
• Its easy to use and a gloss is not required on top of it. May be you can use a base before you apply this to hold for long time.
• It do moisturize the lips and i did not find any bad effect on lips after removing it.
• It will last for long because even a single swatch would bring a glossy look.

Cons : 

• I really don't have any bad cons but then the smell is mild but not so good.

I will definitely try few more colors from Rouge Shine.

Victoria’s Secret Seduction Perfume Review

This is the first review in the fashion and makeup blog. I am happy to review the really seductive Eau De Parfum “Victoria’s Secret Seduction”.

I am purchasing this perfume for the second time and I really love this.

QUANTITY: 50 ml/1.7 FL.OZ

PRICE: 52$

INGREDIENTS: Alcohol dena, water (Aqua, Eau), Fragarnce (Parfum). BHT, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hexyl cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool.

My Idea on the Product:

At first I was trying different flavors of perfume there in the shop. But then, when I saw the name of this perfume I was kind of attracted to it for the word ‘Seduction and Dark Orchid’. Usually, I will not be satisfied easily on perfumes and will browse for more than an hour to select it as you all know its we gonna use it and its others who gonna smell it.

I tried a little spray on the Victoria’s Secret card they gave me and I should say the truth, ‘I loved it’. Its again a flower base perfume (As written ‘Dark Orchid’) but its not kind of too smelly. I am not sure on the word Seduction if it really cause a attack but for the price given its worth to try.

The SA there asked me to spray it on my neck and wait for few minutes to check on how the fragrance molds with my skin. Than testing on our wrist, we can know better response from your neck. SA told me that it smells good on me (Wow ! I was happy). Hence I brought it. A little spray on your neck, on your palm will do wonder. The perfume stayed from the time i used it till I came home from office so it stays longer. My friend told me that she can smell the fragrance when I pass by and its good too(Again I was happy!!). However its kind of bit strong but it does not give any headache.

Lets see Pros and Cons for this perfume.

Pros: 

• This stays for longer time from the time you use it (Approx 8 hours)
• It gives a standalone feel for you that you have a beautiful fragrance for you
• You can buy it more than once. Its worth it
• Its great for evening parties, dinner

Cons:

• Price is bit at higher end
• It gets over soon if you use it lavishly
• sometime it does not get sprayed rather it spills a little (Blink Blink !!)
• Kind of slightly strong but not too much
• Bottle design Package could be still attractive

Overall from my point of view, I love this one a lot even after I tried Victoria’s Secret angel my best vote is for this Dark Orchid Seduction !!!.

Formula X For Sephora Nails Top coat and Base Coat Review

Quantity: 12mL/0.4 FLOz each.
Price: 10.50$ each

I was looking for a good Base coat and Top coat product for a while. While I was shopping in Sephora, I found these two beautiful looking Base Coat and Top Coat.
Formula X For Sephora Base Coat and Top Coat : The base coat is light pink in color but then when you apply its just transparent and has a shining effect. It gives a good coat on the nails. I waited for few minutes for it to get dried and then applied my Lakme color crush nail color which is lavendar (Shiny too). After I applied two coats, I waited for 10 minutes to get it dried. The top coat is completely transparent in look and on applying it gave a finishing and a glossy look to the nails. However the look did not last for days. For first 5 days it was all okay but after that I did not feel the same glossy thing and somehow felt a thickned look of nails. Also though i dried my nails for a descent time the paints were not perfect it got a nice cracks in its looks (may be i did not dry well :( ).

Lets see Pros and Cons on this product :
Pros :

• The base coat acts as a good fix for the nail paint and the nail polish remains for descent number of days
• If you see your nails from a distance it has a beautiful look due to the top coat applied
• Both will last for few months with no doubt

Cons :

• As my nail paint itself was shiny and a top coat above than that reduced the shiny look of my nail paint (I felt so)
• It took lot of time to get it dried more than 10 minutes and I was so careful when doing other work after that. (Though i got some here and there imperfection)
• The packaging is not so great as I wanted to open two caps
• Price is bit high for base coat and top coat (Brand decides it !! )

Delicca Powder Face Wash Review

Ingredients : Starch, Dextrose/Glucose Anhydrous, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Talc, Hydroxyl Propyl Starch Phosphate, Aluminium Startch Octenyl Succinate, Turmeric Powder, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, Betaine, Perfume, Sodium Benzoate, Milk Powder, Polyquaternium-67, Polyquaternium-10, Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose

I have used few powders prepared in home made using Dhal and few other ingredients but then this face wash is a new kind in the market and one good thing which made me try this is Sulfate Free and suitable for all skin types. I asked the SA in the store on how is the product sales and she said its fast moving. They ask you to take a little and mix it with water and then apply to your face. The smell of this powder face wash is mild and nice. I smelled a mild turmeric mixed smell. When you mix it with water and apply it there is not much foam in it like other face washes but then it cleanses your face well and you do have a soft feel after you use it. It does not dry your face. The smell remains for few minutes on your face. However there is no sudden brightness attack on your face like when you use ponds white beauty face wash which makes you appear fair as soon as you wash which don’t even last for 30 minutes.
Pros and Cons of this powder face wash.

Pros :

• It is sulfate free so girlz you do some good thing for your face
• It moisturizes your face after you wash. You can feel a softness.
• It will last for descent time as a little amount will do
• It kind of gives a glow which is stable and day today use gives you a healthy glow as there is not harsh chemicals
• Smell is not too much like other face wash. This is mild.

Cons :

• It does not brighten your face so much like you expect.
• It did not remove completely my eye liner or mascara so i have to double check if i have to remove them with my eye makeup remover.
